# Ninja Backer

Tipping and supporter platform used with VDO.Ninja tip links and creator workflows.

Ninja Backer is the tipping and supporter platform used by VDO.Ninja's `&tip` and `&showtips` workflows.

## Link

* <https://ninjabacker.com>

## Notes

* Share a public creator tip page, or enable built-in tips with `&tipsid=YOUR_TIP_ID` on the publishing link and `&showtips` on the viewing link.
* Copy an OBS alert overlay from the dashboard, and use **Send Test Tip** to check notifications without charging money.
* Connect third-party alerts through signed, retryable webhooks. A private SSE feed is available for live-only notifications without replay.
* Optional receipts, Stripe account warnings, refund/dispute status, and webhook delivery history are available in the checkout/dashboard workflows.

For API receivers, see the [developer guide](https://ninjabacker.com/developers). Keep Tip IDs, overlay URLs, and signing secrets private.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.vdo.ninja/steves-helper-apps/ninja-backer.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
